What is Biothane?
BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. The only plant that produces Biothane® is located in North Ridgeville, Ohio in the USA. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, and easy to clean. It’s just as durable and soft feeling as leather yet easier to maintain. Just wash it in water with a little soap and wipe it dry. It’s waterproof, mold proof and stink proof.
